Come to Me

At Magnum Opus Ministries Nederland, we often pray together, and then ask for specific guidance or messages from Jesus. Recently when we had such a meeting, one brother received the Bible quote, “Come to Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28), as a personal message.

The next day, I felt the urge to write this quote on our whiteboard, not for any particular reason, but just because it occurred to me. And then the same quote kept coming back again and again, through a beautiful deck of cards with encouraging Bible quotes, which we sometimes get out.

We ask people to pick a card blindly, from the 44 cards deck, and read it. Then we shuffle it and ask the next person to do the same thing. When we did this, shortly after receiving the message and me getting the urge to write it on the whiteboard, we got the card in the picture three times in a row!

These things are not a coincidence when they happen like this. We got the card so often, that one brother even went through the deck of cards, checking if there really was only one of the forty-four cards which displayed this quote! And that was indeed the case. To me, it was clear that Jesus really wants us to receive this message from Him and take it to heart.

The occurrences, these miracles, these blessings, are truly beautiful. It reminds me and everyone involved we are not alone. That Jesus is with us, and totally willing to help us, love us, guide us, and take over our burdens. It reminds me that miracles are natural and that a spiritual awakening is truly possible for me and everyone. Thank You, Jesus!
