Many messages from Masters have inspired me over the years. One of the most powerful messages that I have found, is from The Mother, the principal collaborator of Sri Aurobindo.

The Mother

In the audio recording below, she talks about the two powers: the Grace of the Divine, which is 100% all the time, and the devotion of the spiritual aspirant, which should also be 100%.

She emphatically points out that if your Divine Experience is not 100%, you should not blame the Divine, but “The imperfection of your own surrender.” A powerful reminder of my responsibility.

I highly encourage you to check out this YouTube audio recording, which also shows the text to read along. May these reminders of the importance of devotion bring more Light to all of us!

Recently, on a Tuesday, I planned to go on a relaxed motorcycle ride in the morning, something I do more often on my day off. And while I was cruising, thinking about going to a supermarket to get some snacks, and then enjoying them on a bench at the roadside, I got an inner impulse to go to Margraten.

I recognize these impulses. Every morning I pray for guidance, for my Guides to be with me during the day. Ever since I do that, I have been receiving these kinds of impulses.

I followed the impulse and went to the war cemetery in Margraten. When I arrived there, I sat down on a bench for visitors, and asked my Guides, “Why am I here?”

Two thoughts then dawned on my mind. The first was the thought, “You have to go deeper.” The second was the vow that I had taken when I became a Minister of Magnum Opus Ministries Nederland: “I vow to dedicate my life in service to my Creator, that His plan to redeem His Son be completed in me now.”

Then I realized why I was here at the cemetery. It was to remind me not to romanticise the world, but to see it for what it is, or what it becomes, when God is ignored. I am here, in a place dedicated to death, to represent Life! I am here to be a Minister of God, to be the Light of the world. I am here to shine away all darkness, to be on fire for God all the time!

God Himself is asking for my help to redeem His Son. What is asked of me in doing this task, in fulfilling this vow, is my full devotion, not my partial devotion. When I let this sink in, I realized I needed this reminder, given by my Guides. And after the initial tears and disturbance, I became grateful. Yes, this is my heart’s desire!

After thanking my Guides, I went into prayer, and used what was taught to me by Rananda. I blessed the whole war cemetery with the Golden Christ Light, with the intent to heal, to transform, to make everything new. To let the darkness be dissolved by the Light. Because that is what the Light of the world does. All the time. Thank You, Father!
